Women's Soccer to Host USC Upstate for Ingles I-26 Rivalry, Match Adjusted Due to Field Conditions

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Soccer is set to host USC Upstate on Wednesday (Oct. 29) for the latest installment of the Ingles I-26 Rivalry. Due to field conditions at Greenwood Field, the match will be played at Montreat College's Howard Fisher Memorial Field at 1:00 p.m.

● The Bulldogs enter the match at (5-8-3, 1-4-2 Big South) after falling 2-0 against Longwood on Saturday (Oct. 25).

● Asheville is tied for sixth in the league in corner kicks with 62.
● Akari Kishida is tied for 10th in the league in goals with four, while Campbell Stoll is tied for second in the conference in assists with four.

● USC Upstate enters the week at 9-6-1 overall and 5-2-0 in the Big South Conference after a 4-0 win over South Carolina State back on Saturday (Oct. 25).
● USC Upstate is second in the league in scoring at 1.63 goals per game, while also ranking eighth in opponent scoring average at 1.88 goals per game.
● Upstate is also second in the conference in corner kicks with 82.
● Riley O'Bryan is tied for second in the league in goals with four, while Dara Russo is tied for fourth with six goals and Paige Armstrong is tied for sixth with five goals on the season.
● Savannah Noll is tied for second in the league in assists with four, while Russo, Hannah Johnson and Armstrong are each tied for fifth with three assists apiece.
● Marley Gerber and Madison Eigird have split time in net this season for the Spartans.
