Women’s Tennis to open up play at Wofford Invitational Friday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team returns to the court Friday for its last tournament of the fall, heading down the mountain to compete in the Wofford Invitational.
The tournament, which could be impacted by weather, is scheduled to take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Bulldogs have not competed since hosting the Emily McNall Classic back in late September. Asheville had strong performances from the bulk of their lineup, sweeping Montreat, taking both doubles matches against Western Carolina and getting victories at flights No. 1 through 4 against the Catamounts.

Schedule
Friday (11:00 am Start) 1 doubles, 1 singles
Saturday (9:00 am Start) 2 doubles and 1 singles
Sunday (8:00 am Start) 1 singles
Format: For Doubles, it will be a 6-game pro-set with no advantage scoring. For singles, it will be two out of three sets, no advantage scoring and a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a third set.
