Golf to open up play in Terrier Intercollegiate Monday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's golf team travels down the mountain to compete in the Terrier Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
The teams will play 36 holes on Monday, with the final 18 taking place on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will tee off in shotgun format at 8:30 a.m.
In the Bulldogs' last outing, Venecia Zaia posted the lowest single round in program history (67) as the team recorded its lowest score ever (288) in the process. Zaia would go on to be named Big South Freshman of the Week for her performance.

Course: Carolina Country Club (Par 72 / 6,056 yards) – Spartanburg, S.C.
Format: Monday, Oct. 25 – 36 holes with 8:30 a.m. start (Shotgun start)
Tuesday, Oct. 26 – 18 holes with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. (Shotgun start)
