Asheville picked up where it left off in the second, as Carson Bogan fired a shot on frame but it was collected by Moran. In the 56th, Charleston Southern would earn a throw in as Bri Robinson created space and scored to put the Bucs on top 1-0. The Bulldogs continued to fight, with chances from Gardner, Alice Walker, Barrett Eidson and Kaiya Boyd. In the 81st, however, a ball was played through the middle and Jenea Knight used her speed to tally the second goal of the half for the Bucs who would take the game 2-0.
