Men’s Basketball to Open the Home Portion of Their Schedule with Brevard and St. Andrews

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville men's basketball head coach Mike Morrell announced the addition of Brevard and St. Andrews to the 2019-20 nonconference schedule.
The Bulldogs will play their home opener versus Brevard on Nov. 16 2019, inside Kimmel Arena. These two programs have faced off seven times dating back to the 2001-02 season. The Bulldogs are a perfect 7-0 versus Brevard. Their last matchup ended in a 68-50 Bulldog victory inside Kimmel Arena in the 2016-17 season.
UNC Asheville will play its second home game of the season versus St. Andrews on Nov. 21 2019. The Bulldogs opened the 2018-19 season with an 87-47 victory over St. Andrews in Kimmel Arena. That victory was head coach Mike Morrell's first career victory. Prior to last season's matchup the last time these two programs faced off was in the 1966-67 season. In total, UNC Asheville and St. Andrews have seen each other seven times and the Bulldogs have pulled out seven straight victories over St. Andrews.
