Gilmore Featured as Official Nominee for 2019 NABC Give Back Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UNC Asheville men's basketball senior Donovan Gilmore was recognized for his efforts in the community by being listed as a nominee for the 2019 NABC Give Back Team.
Gilmore was noted as a nominee for the award that goes to men's college basketball student-athletes. A total of 63 were nominated by college coaches and sports information directors across the country.
A native of Greensboro, N.C., Gilmore was nominated for the award for his constant commitment to the local community during his time as a Bulldog.
Gilmore also attended the 2017 NCAA Convention and served on the UNC Asheville Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Last summer Gilmore even took part in a prestigious internship with the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC).
Gilmore graduated from UNC Asheville in May of 2019 with a degree in Health & Wellness Promotion. He was chosen to the 2019 Big South Men's Basketball All-Academic Team.
