GREENSBORO, N.C. – In its first road match of the season, UNC Asheville women's tennis fell, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Center.
The match opened with UNCG (1-2) taking the doubles point. From there, UNCG would pick up wins at No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to collect the win over UNC Asheville (4-2).
The matches at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 singles were left unfinished.
The Bulldogs will next return home on Wednesday, Feb. 13, to face Emmanuel at 2 p.m. at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown. UNC Asheville is 4-1 this season at home.
