The Bulldogs (6-4) defeated Stetson, 78-76, Tuesday, to begin the season 4-0 at home. Tajion Jones led the way with 21 points as all five starters scored in double figures. The Dogs used a huge advantage in turnovers, 22-8, to defeat a hot-shooting Hatters team.

The Mocs (7-5, 0-1 SoCon) are coming off a high-scoring 84-80 victory against Troy at home, Sunday. The Mocs have played a pair of common opponents, falling to Tennessee, 58-46, and to Western Carolina, 87-77.

It is the first time in more than 20 years the two teams will square off, as Chattanooga owns a 6-0 advantage in the all-time series. In the last meeting, December 30, 1997, the Mocs narrowly edged out the Dogs, 70-68. It's been almost 30 years since the teams met in Asheville, as Chattanooga won that game, 82-77, in the Justice Center, January 4, 1989.
