BULLDOG BITES
Strong at the Free Throw Line

The Bulldogs are shooting an impressive 88.6 percent (39-of-44) as a team from the free throw line in league play.
Sharing the Basketball

Quotable
"It was a tale of two halves," UNC Asheville men's basketball head coach Mike Morrell said. "We got off to another tough start. We did not respond the right way defensively and it went from a four-point lead to a 20-point lead for Hampton quickly. They are very aggressive and Jermaine Marrow is one of the better players we have seen all year. We did a pretty good job today of limiting him and Kalin Fisher, but others stepped up for them. That's what good teams do. We made some adjustments at halftime and played much better in the second half, but the first half was one of the worst we have played all year. We can't do that to ourselves."
Up Next
UNC Asheville will next welcome Campbell to Kimmel Arena on Wednesday, Jan. 16. The Bulldogs own a 25-20 all-time series edge over the Camels with Asheville having won 12 of the last 13 in the series.
The 7 p.m. game with Campbell will be featured on ESPN3.
