Men's Basketball Announces 2026-27 Home Non-Conference Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's basketball program announced its seven-game home non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will welcome seven opponents to Kimmel Arena during November and December, beginning with the home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 4.

- Nov. 7 – Western Carolina
- Nov. 18 – Tennessee Tech
- Nov. 28 – Georgia Southern
- Dec. 6 – Alice Lloyd
- Dec. 19 – Morehead State
- Dec. 29 – Spartanburg Methodist
Asheville opens the 2026-27 campaign on the road on Nov. 2 before returning to Kimmel Arena for its home opener against Erskine on Nov. 4. The Bulldogs then host longtime mountain rival Western Carolina on Nov. 7 in what is expected to be one of the marquee home contests of the non-conference slate.
The Bulldogs will welcome the newest member of the Southern Conference, Tennessee Tech, to Asheville on Nov. 18. The matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs since 2021.
Following the Thanksgiving holiday, Asheville returns home to host Georgia Southern on Nov. 28. The matchup serves as the return game after the Bulldogs traveled to Statesboro during the 2025-26 season and concludes the November home schedule.
The Bulldogs return to Kimmel Arena on Dec. 6 to face Alice Lloyd before wrapping up the home non-conference schedule with contests against Morehead State on Dec. 19 and Spartanburg Methodist on Dec. 29.
The complete 2026-27 non-conference schedule, including road games, will be announced in the coming weeks, along with the Bulldogs' promotional schedule for the upcoming season.
