NKU FALL CLASSIC FINAL RESULTS
BATAVIA, Ohio – Behind three top-18 finishes from Taylor Hinson, Kellen Alsip and Adelyn Deery, the UNC Asheville women's golf team placed tied for sixth on Tuesday at the NKU Fall Classic at the Elks Run Golf Club.

Highlights
Hinson led UNC Asheville on the final day, as she posted a 2-over 73. The sophomore inked three birdies on the 18-hole day, which was the most on the team on Tuesday.
Overall, Hinson finished tied for 16th with Victoria Grans of Youngstown State. In the two-day tournament, Hinson went 14-over 227 (77-77-73).
Two slots behind Hinson was Deery and Alsip, as the Bulldog duo tied for 18th with four other golfers. Both Bulldogs finished the tournament at 16-over 229.
Alsip inked a 4-over 75 on Tuesday, while Deery carded a 6-over 77.
Freshman Baylee Evans posted her second 8-over 79 round of the tournament. Evans placed tied for 36th in her first collegiate tournament.
UNC Asheville finished the three-round tournament tied for sixth with Youngstown State. The Bulldogs carded a 71-over 923 (315-300-308) at the Elks Run Golf Club.
Cincinnati took home the team title, as the Bearcats carded a 24-over 876.
Marion DeBove of IUPUI penciled a 3-under 68 on the final day to win the individual title at 1-under 212. Anika Hitt and Vanessa Manrique of Cincinnati earned runner-up status at 2-over 215.
What's Next?
Due to Hurricane Florence, East Carolina canceled its home tournament – the Pirate Collegiate Classic – on Sept 17-18.
Instead UNC Asheville will now travel to Lexington, Ky. to compete in the two-day Morehead State University Greenbrier Invitational. Competition will be held on Sept. 17-18 at the Greenbrier Country Club.
