Bulldogs To Conclude Regular Season at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – To conclude the regular season, the UNC Asheville women's golf team will compete in the two-day Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate in Morganton, N.C.
Last Time Out
At the highly-competitive Briar's Creek, freshman Taylor Hinson paced the Bulldogs, as she placed tied for 20th individually. She recorded her lowest three-round score of her career with a 3-over 219 (73-74-72). For her performance, she was named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week.
Adelyn Deery had the second-best round for Asheville, as the sophomore inked a 16-over 232. Becca Black and Janie Thomas rounded out the top-4 scores for the Bulldogs, as they posted a 24-over 240 and 29-over 245, respectively.
As a team, UNC Asheville finished 16th at 65-over 929 (312-307-310). No. 29 North Carolina won the team title, as the Tar Heels recorded a 16-under 848 in the two-day outing.
About the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate
The Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate is a two-day tournament, which begins on Sunday, April 1. The outing is hosted by Mountain Rival Appalachian State.
The 36-hole outing will be played at the Mimosa Hills Country Club in Morganton, N.C. The course is a par-72 and runs 6,099 yards.
There are 16 total teams, including six teams from the Big South - Gardner-Webb, Longwood, Presbyterian, Radford, UNC Asheville and Winthrop.
