Bulldogs Travel to Texas to Compete in Bradley Spring Break Invitational

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – For its first outing in March, the UNC Asheville women's golf team travels to Farmers Branch, Texas for the two-day Bradley Spring Break Invitational beginning on March 12 at the Brookhaven Country Club.
Last Time Out
Freshman Taylor Hinson was the high spot for the Bulldogs in the Amelia Island Classic, as she finished in the top-20 as an individual. The Belmont, N.C. native posted an 11-over, 227 en route to a three-way tie for 20th. Her lowest 18-hole round was in the second round, where she posted a 3-over 75.
Becca Black finished just outside of the top-50, as she inked a 20-over 236 in the two-day tournament in Amelia Island, Fla.
As a team, the Bulldogs finished 14th at 75-over, 939. The Bulldogs were only five strokes away from moving up four spots on the team leaderboard in the three-round tournament.
About the Bradley Spring Break Invitational
The outing is a two-day event that begins on March 12 and concludes on March 13. The tournament is hosted by Bradley University, which will be held at the Brookhaven Country Club in Texas. The course is a par-73 and 6,286 yards in distance.
Monday will consist of 36 holes with a shotgun start at 9 a.m., and Tuesday will host the final 18 holes with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
There are 17 total teams in the outing. There are four total teams from the state of Texas, and UNC Asheville is the lone school representing the state of North Carolina.
The Bulldogs will start on holes 10b-12a and will be paired with University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Illinois State.
