Women’s Tennis Closes Out Play at Wofford Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – UNC Asheville women's tennis closed out play at the Wofford Invite at the Reeves Tennis Center on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018.
On Sunday, Emily Sidor continued her winning ways by picking up a 6-0, 6-2 win over Amelia Guevremont of Arkansas State in the SoCon singles portion of the event.
In the Gray singles portion of the event, UNC Asheville's Christin Louw dropped her match to Jeanine Acierto 6-0, 6-3.
In the College singles section, UNC Asheville's Madeline Finley secured a 6-2, 7-5 win over Hanna Kruhlova of West Virginia State.
In the Terrier singles section, UNC Asheville's Anastasia Horvat dropped a hard-fought 6-4, 7-6 (9) match to Sasha Hartje of Emory.
In the Gray doubles section of the event, the UNC Asheville duo of Sidor and Louw dropped their match to Anastasia Belyaeva and Marielle Leahy of Radford on Sunday, 6-4.
