NINETY SIX, S.C. – After four individual victories on Monday, the Bulldogs were paced by Adelyn Deery and Kellen Alsip on Tuesday, as the duo each picked up wins on the final day of the 2018 Blue Hose Match Play.

Final Round Highlights
In the third and final round of the 2018 Blue Hose Match Play, the Bulldogs were paired with Big South Conference rival Charleston Southern.
Deery set the tone early for UNC Asheville, as the junior downed Xuss Doira of CSU, 7&6.
Alsip was the second Bulldog to clinch her head-to-head match. The junior from Cincinnati, Ohio raced past Sydney Merchant, 5&4.
Taylor Hinson nearly claimed a victory, but the sophomore slipped, 2&1, to Ellen Hume.
What's Next?
To wrap up the fall portion of the 2018-19 schedule, the UNC Asheville women's golf team travels to Spartanburg, S.C. for the two-day Terrier Intercollegiate. The first two rounds begin on Monday, Oct. 29, and the final round will be held on Oct. 30. The outing is hosted at the Country Club of Spartanburg.
