GAME AT A GLANCE

With just under 10 minutes left in the half, Western Carolina's Kyla Moncrief tied things up with a goal off a corner kick.
After the two teams took a 1-1 tie into halftime, Courtney Naber gave UNC Asheville the lead for good just over three minutes into the second half on Trent's second assist of the match.

QUOTABLES
"This match is what college athletics is all about. The energy and intensity that was felt on the field was a huge factor in this win. I cannot stress the importance of our bench personnel and how they have given energy to every player. That is incredibly selfless and not a role everyone is willing to embrace but also a reason teams have success. Congrats to Rachel Snyder on her first two collegiate goals. I thought we demonstrated incredible leadership on the field. Our communication was high which allows us to be on the same page for 90 minutes. We battled with everything we had tonight. I am proud of this group for their effort and commitment to each other. They were certainly fun to watch this evening." - UNC Asheville head women's soccer coach Michelle Demko
