QUOTABLES
“We needed a trip exactly like UAB to show us where we need to be more consistent to take steps forward in the program. Getting on the road and competing seems to be a hang up for us. That was my goal in scheduling four road games in a row, to help us be our strongest come end of October. We are going to keep our foot on the gas with his group. There is so much talent with these players. Give credit to UAB. They are a good passing team and made us chase the game for 90 minutes. We scored a great equalizer goal and changed our formation after we went down a goal and never recovered after that. We must learn from this and attack the areas of growth necessary to reach our goals. Success is built on success but more so built on moments of failure. We will regroup and be back at it Sunday against Kennesaw State.” – head coach Michelle Demko
