McDevitt and Men's Basketball Adds Brown to Signing Class

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville head men's basketball coach Nick McDevitt has announced the addition of incoming freshman Justin Brown to the Bulldogs' 2015-2016 signing class.

 

Brown joins incoming freshmen Jonathan Baehre, Drew Rackley, Malik Smith, MaCio Teague and Grant Townsend, in addition to transfer Donovan Gilmore, who were announced earlier this May.

 

Brown is a 6'3 guard out of Miami, Florida, playing for Westminster Christian School. As a senior, he averaged 27.9 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per contest while shooting 60 percent from the floor. Brown tallied 1,637 total points in his high school career and was named All Miami-Dade County First Team and was a First Team All-State selection.
