MaCio Teague Named Big South Freshman of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C.—MaCio Teague, a guard from Cincinnati, Ohio, of the UNC Asheville men's basketball team was named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, announced earlier today by the league office.
Teague scored double digits in all three games this past week, all against three tough opponents. First, he scored 11 points with 3 rebounds and 3 steals at Georgia on Monday. In the following mid-week game at USC Upstate, he scored 16 points going 6 for 7 from the field and 4 for 5 from behind the arc. Teague also grabbed 3 rebounds in this game. Sunday, against Siena, Teague scored a career high 17 points with 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
Teague and the Bulldogs will return to action tomorrow, November, 22, when they travel to Greenville, S.C. to face the Furman Paladins beginning at 7:00 p.m.
