The Mobile, AL native finished with 15-plus points in all three contests dating back to December 29 against Furman, including a 20-point night and the game-winning bucket against the Paladins. Smith also notched 20 points in the Big South Conference road win at Longwood, and collected a total of 56 points on 16-of-39 shooting in the three victories. He hit nine of his 24 three-point attempts and was 15-of-18 from the free throw stripe combined, adding 12 rebounds, four steals, two assists and a block in 81 total minutes of action.
Smith and the Bulldogs are now 10-3 on the season and a perfect 3-0 in Big South Conference play. Asheville wraps up the week with a Saturday afternoon contest at Charleston Southern down on the South Carolina coast.
