Women's Tennis Sweeps North Carolina A&T; Improve to 8-1

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team improved to 8-1 on the season with a 7-0 victory over homestanding North Carolina A&T on Monday.
Asheville was in complete control of its match with the Aggies. The Bulldogs won its two if three doubles matches without losing a game and won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Emily McNall picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory playing at the top flight, while Erika Rivero won 6-0, 6-2 on court two. Christine Boissevain earned a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 3. Amalie Davidsen grabbed a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the fourth flight, while Hunter Hall won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5. Lauren Brooker rouned out the winning day with a triumphant 6-0, 6-0 match on court six.
The Blue & White will resume conference play when they head to Farmville, Va. to face Longwood on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m.
