Women's Tennis Continues Strong Year with 7-0 Win

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team got back in the win column with a dominating 7-0 victory over North Greenville University on Tuesday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club.
Asheville improves to 11-2 overall on the year, while North Greenville falls to 5-6 on the year.
Ericka Rivero and Emily McNall's 8-1 victory at No. 1 improved the pair's doubles record to 8-3 overall on the year. The Bulldogs wrapped up the point on court two where Christine Boissevain and Lauren Brooker also earned an 8-1 win. Boissevain and Brooker now have a team-best 10-2 record for the year.
In singles play, freshman Amalie Davidsen improved her record to 11-2 overall with a 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3. Rivero grabbed a 6-1, 6-1 win at the top flight, while Boissevain grabbed a win on court two (6-2, 6-0). Lauren Brooker, Hunter Hall and Carolinle Sherrer rounded out singles play with straight-set victories.
The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday afternoon when they travel to Wofford to face the Terriers in a 2:00 p.m. contest.
