Men's Tennis Remains Unbeaten, Tops Norfolk State 5-2

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The men's tennis team picked up its second win of the season on Saturday afternoon as they defeated Norfolk State 5-2 at East Carolina University.
The Bulldogs (2-0) jumped out to a quick lead after taking the doubles point with wins at No. 1 from Brett Landau and Alex Croker (6-3) and at No. 2 with the team of Reid Dillon and Thomas Orestis-Panoulas (6-1).
In singles play, Alex Croker defeated Terey Hackney at No. 4 and Brett Landau topped Alex Killam at No. 5 grabbed straight-set (6-0, 6-0) victories. Thomas Orestis-Panoulas defeated Igor Braga 6-4, 6-2. Norfolk State picked up wins at No. 1 where Pascal Domnik outlasted Daniel Kripak 7-5, 7-5 and at No. 3 when Daniel Grauel bested Josh Swindler 6-2, 6-1.
The Bulldogs will return to action tomorrow when they face East Carolina at 1:00 pm.
