Andrew Rowsey Named BCBSNC Athlete of the Week

Sophomore men's basketball player Andrew Rowsey is this week's Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Athlete of the Week at UNC Asheville.
Each week the school selects a BCBSNC Athlete of the Week upon their performance from the previous week's action.
The sophomore guard enjoyed two great scoring games last week as he became the nation's leading scorer. Andrew scored 30 points at SEC foe South Carolina last Wednesday night and then tallied 27 points against Conference USA opponent Charlotte Sunday afternoon. He now leads the nation in scoring with a 26.7 average.
Andrew was named Big South Player of the Week for the second time this year on Monday.
The Bulldogs are off this week for exams but will resume play this Sunday afternoon when they host Limestone at Kimmel Arena starting at 2 p.m.
