Andrew Rowsey Named BCBSNC Athlete of the Week

Sophomore men's basketball players Andrew Rowsey is this week's Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Athlete of the Week at UNC Asheville.
Each week the school selects a BCBSNC Athlete of the Week upon their performance from the previous week's action.
Andrew helped the Bulldogs go 1-1 on in the first two games of the year both facing BCS schools on the road. He scored 26 points at Wake Forest Friday night as Asheville fell, 80-69. Rowsey then scored 28 points at East Carolina Sunday afternoon as the Bulldogs downed the Pirates, 83-79. The sophomore guard went 15-of-16 from the free throw line in the victory as Asheville won a game over a BSC school for the fifth time in the last six years.
Andrew and the Bulldogs have their home opener this Wednesday night when they host Johnson & Wales at Kimmel Arena starting at 7 p.m.
