Bulldogs to Face Northeastern in ESPNU Bracketbusters on Feb. 19

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's basketball team will face Northeastern from the Colonial Conference in the 2011 ESPNU Bracketbusters at Justice Center on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 4:30 p.m. The pairings for the Bracketbuster were announced by ESPN on Monday evening.

This will be the second time the Bulldogs have participated in the Bracketbusters. Asheville defeated Eastern Kentucky on the road, 83-77 in 2006.

This will be the first ever meeting between the Huskies and Bulldogs. Northeastern will be the fifth team Asheville has ever faced from the Colonial Conference. The Huskers have a 7-15 overall record and are 3-8 in the Colonial Conference.

The Bulldogs are one of nine Big South Conference teams to participate in the Bracketbusters. Here is a list of the games involving teams in the Big South.
