Toles Hartman Named Big South Freshman of Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - UNC Asheville forward Toles Hartman (Christiansburg, Va.) has been named The Crons Brand Freshman of the Week for games played Jan. 24-30, it was announced today by the Conference office.
Hartman had a career game in his lone action last week, as he had a personal-best 16 points in 12 minutes off the bench in the Bulldogs' win at VMI. Entering the game with just 23 total points scored in his previous 12 appearances, Hartman was 7-of-8 from the floor and added two free throws in scoring double-figures for the first time. He also grabbed four rebounds (three offensive) and handed out an assist.
The Bulldogs (11-10, 6-5 BSC) will be in action again Thursday night when they host Presbyterian College in a key Big South Conference battle starting at 7 p.m.
