Men's Basketball Ranked in Steals & Home Game Winning Streak

ASHEVILLE. N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's basketball team is ranked in two different categories in the latest NCAA statistics that were released on Monday.
The Bulldogs are ranked sixth nationally in steals. Asheville has 91 steals in eight games this year and it's 11.4 average ranks them second in the Big South behind VMI (12.6). The Bulldogs tied a school record earlier this season with 20 steals against Virginia Intermont.
In addition, Asheville's 10-game winning streak at Justice Center is tied for the 15th longest home winning streak in the nation. The Bulldogs will try to add to that streak this Saturday afternoon when they host Montreat College ate Justice Center starting at 4:30 p.m.
