John Williams Winning Dunk Scheduled to be on ESPN's Sports Nation on Thursday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville senior forward John Williams won the Slam-Dunk contest for the second straight year at Jammin At The Justice Friday. Williams had a spectacular dunk as he jumped over two players, including 7-2 center Sean Hobbs. The dunk is scheduled to be featured on ESPN 2's Sports Nation on Thursday. The show is scheduled to be on at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Williams earned second-team Big South All-Conference honors last year as he was second on the team in scoring with an 11.5 average. He tied for the lead in rebounding with a 6.7 mark and led the squad in field goal percentage at 58.1 percent. The Raleigh native is already the school's all-time leader in blocked shots with 209. He led the Big South in blocked shots last season with 82.
