Baseball Hosts Central Michigan in Weekend Series

The Bulldogs are happy to be playing at home after dropping their first five games on the road. Sophomore Catlin Carter was named to the Courtyard by Marriott Classic All-Tournament team as he hit .400 (6-for-15) last weekend against Virginia Tech, George Mason, and Wofford. Carter will bring a four-game hit streak into this weekend's action.
Senior Reed Kreiser hit the Bulldogs' first home run of the season on Tuesday at Furman. Kreiser is leading the team with four RBI and a slugging percentage of 526. He has now hit a home run on Feb. 24 each of the last two seasons. Junior Justin Schumer is the third Bulldog hitting .300 or better. He is 6-for-20 on the season with a double and a RBI. Both Kreiser and Schumer have a hit in all five games this season.
