2003 Men's Basketball Featured on Big South Web-Site

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's basketball team victory over Texas Southern in the NCAA Tournament is being featured on the Big South Conference website at www.bigsouthsports.com.

The Bulldogs' 92-84 win over Texas Southern was voted as one of the top 25 moments in Big South Conference history this past summer and a three-minute video devoted to Asheville's run to the Big South championship and trip to the NCAA Tournament. Asheville's win over Texas Southern in the opening round was the first ever NCAA tournament victory for any basketball team in the Big South.

Highlights of the video include an interview with UNC Asheville head coach Eddie Biedenbach plus Alex Kragel's last-second shot to beat Winthrop in the Big South Tournament.
