ASHEVILLE, N.C.: The UNC Asheville Bulldogs are back in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 poll that was released last night. The Bulldogs are 24th this week.

Asheville had been in the poll for six straight weeks before dropping out last week after losing four straight games. The Bulldogs are now into the poll at 24th with 86 votes, one vote ahead of Ohio with 85 votes. The Bulldogs got as high as 12th back on Feb. 5th after their first win over Winthrop. Ashville has been receiving votes in the poll all year long. The poll is voted on by coaches at mid-major universities. Butler is first in the poll, followed by Davidson.

The Bulldogs are 21-8 on the season and the top seed in this week's 2008 Advance Auto Parts Big South Conference Tournament. Asheville hosts Charleston Southern tonight starting at 7 p.m.
