Former Bulldog women's tennis player Lauren Edgerton joined the UNC Asheville women's tennis coaching staff in the fall of 2020 as a volunteer assistant coach. Edgerton graduated from Asheville in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in neuroscience and philosophy. After graduating from UNC Asheville, Edgerton earned her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Western Carolina in 2019. In addition to her coaching duties with the Bulldogs, Edgerton also works as a clinical case manager at the Methodist Home for Children in Asheville.
