Overview: Joined the UNC Asheville program in January of 2006 after transferring from Union College in Kentucky...has been a consistent singles and doubles player for the Bulldogs the past two years...one of two seniors on this year’s roster...should be a key player for Asheville this year in both singles and doubles.

2006: Became a starter right away for the Bulldog program and went 7-9 in singles play...managed a 3-4 record in Big South Conference play...went 4-1 in singles at #6 flight...played with three different players in doubles and went 7-10 during the year.

2007: Went 8-8 in singles action and played primarily as in #4 flight where he produced a 5-5 record...teamed up with Damien Snare to go 5-1 in doubles action.

Before UNC Asheville: Played one year at Union College in Barboursville, Ky.

Coach Gregory Says: "Tyler is an extremely hard worker who loves to play tennis. He improved a great deal over the fall and need him to continue that improvement this spring. Tyler is a player who needs to be a little more aggressive and take advantage of his opportunities."
