Overview: Athletic player who should see more playing time as a sophomore...can play either in the front court or backcourt...late signee by Bulldog coaching staff in July of 2007...did not suit up for the first 10 games of the season before due to injury...should be healthy and ready to make a bigger contribution this season.
2007-08: Played in 15 games and averaged 1.5 points per game...showed flashes throughout the season...top game was eight points on 3-of-6 shooting from the field in overtime victory at VMI (1-19) as he played 11 minutes in that contest...scored five points and knocked down a trey in home win over Montreat (12-31)...made his collegiate debut against South Carolina (12-17) where he scored two points and collected three rebounds...played season-high 14 minutes at High Point where he scored two points and collected two rebounds.
Newton HS: Played for coach Rick Rasmussen at Newton and had a sensational senior year where he averaged 19 points and seven rebounds per game for team that finished with 20-8 record and advanced to Class AAAAA state tournament...was named as Newton Citizen Co-Player of the Year after senior season...named to all-conference and all-state team...made the Atlanta Tip-Off Club team...also selected as team MVP...junior season averaged 15 points and five rebounds per game...excellent student...lettered in baseball at Newton.
