Spring 2021 Season (5th year Senior) - In his final season as a Bulldog, Turner ran in all three races for Asheville...Finished in the top 25 in each of the two races during the regular season...Turner closed out his career in Asheville at the Big South Cross Country Championships where he placed 62nd with a time of 28:57.8.
2019 Season (Senior) - Turner once again competed in six races for Asheville in the fall of 2019...Finished third at the Montreat-UNCA Dual in mid-September with a time of 15:25.0...Turner had a pair of standout times in 2019 with the first coming at the Louisville Classic in early October where he finished the 8K race in 25:41.5...Turner also put together a speedy 10K run at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships finishing it in 34:05.3...Both times rank within the top 25 times in program history in their respective distances.
2018 Season (Junior) - Coming back for his third season, Turner appeared in all six races for the Bulldogs...Five of the six races were 8K in length...In those contests, Turner placed in the top-15 twice at the UNCA Cross Country Invitational and then again at the Big South Cross Country Championships...However, his top time 8K time in 2018 came at the ECU Cross Country Invitational where he clocked in at 26:22.0...Turner closed out the 2018 campaign by running for Asheville at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships...In the 10K outing, Turner turned in a time of 35.12.5.
2017 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Turner was limited to two races due to injury...He ran at the Covered Bridge Cross Country Meet on September 1 and then again at the Asheville Cross Country Invitational on September 23.
2016 Season (Freshman) - During his first season as a Bulldog, Turner appeared in four cross country races for the Bulldogs....He made his collegiate cross country debut at the Western Carolina Cross Country Invitational on September 3, 2016...There he placed 24th in the 5K race...Turner's other three races were 8K in length...His top performance in terms of time came at the Asheville Cross Country Challenge where he posted a time of 27:49.0...He closed out his first campaign with the Bulldogs at the Big South Cross Country Championships where he placed 69th with a time of 30:12.0.
Before UNC Asheville - Ran 2:00 in the 800 meters, 4:27 in the 1600 meters and a junior PR (was injured senior year) of 16:35 in cross country 5k … Two-time Athlete of the Year at Enka and Turner was runner-up in the state championship in the 800 and 1600 his senior year ... Also lettered in golf and basketball ... Overall, Turner earned 12 letters in high school.
