Fall 2023 Season (Redshirt Junior) - Competed in five races in the fall of 2023...Recorded a PR in the 8k at the Live in Lou XC Classic with a time of 25:30.9...Earned a 26th place finish in the Big South Conference Championships (25:55.8)...Represented the Bulldogs at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships and finished the 10k with a personal best time of 32:06.2.
Fall 2022 Season- Haines did not compete in any races during the 2022 cross country season.
Fall 2021 Season (Redshirt Sophomore) - As a redshirt sophomore, Haines ran in five races for the Bulldogs...Broke the 28-minute mark twice during the fall season...His top finish came at the Fire Tower Open in mid-September (47th - 27:57.77)...Set new career-low time in the 8K race with a time of 26:53.9 at the Louisville Classic in early October...Closed out his season by running for Asheville at the Big South Cross Country Championships...At the Championships, Haines placed 54th amongst the field with a time of 27:43.0.
Spring 2021 Season (Redshirt Freshman) - Haines appeared in all three cross country races for Asheville during the spring season of 2021...He made his collegiate debut on January 29 at the Winthrop Adidas Cross Country Invitational...In his first collegiate 8K race, Haines placed 28th with a time of 27:28.9...Haines followed that run by placing 18th at the Highlander Invitational in mid-February with a time of 26:36.1...Haines closed out his first collegiate season by finishing 58th at the Big South Cross Country Championships with a time of 28:22.8.
