Overview: Came in last year and became UNC Asheville’s starting second baseman and did solid job…was one of two Bulldogs to start and play in all 51 games in 2013…transferred to Asheville from USC Lancaster after playing one year and red-shirting one season…last name is pronounced Tolls.
2014: Started and played in 52 of 53 games for the Blue & White…hit .247 with 14 doubles and two triples…third on team in runs scored with 27…got off to a good start with hits in the first eight games of the year…had 12 multi-hit games…had three games with three hits…went 3-for-4 with two doubles and RBI at Western Kentucky (2-21)…had three hits and double vs. ETSU (3-12) and Radford (5-9)…scored two runs in six different contests.
2013: Sixth on team in batting with .286 average…second on team in at bats (192), runs scored (30), walks (21)…led team in stolen bases with 13…third on team in hits (55) and on-base pct. (.374)…led club in hit by pitch (7), sacrifices (7) and total plate appearances (229)…had three hits vs. Canisius (2-24) and High Point (4-21)…posted two hits and two RBI’s at UNC Greensboro (2-20)…enjoyed sensational four-game series against NCAA Tournament squad with Canisius as he went 9-of-13 at the plate with seven runs scored…registered nine-game hitting streak early in the year…had 14 multi-hit games…stole three bases in home win over Wofford (3-12).
Before UNC Asheville: Hit .370 in leadoff spot for USC-Lancaster in 2011...Batted .571 as a senior at Hammond School...Selected SCISA Player of the Year in 2010...Also played football and basketball in high school.
