2023 Season (Junior) - In his third season with the Bulldogs, Kaufman appeared in 47 games and hit .259...Splitting his time between second base and center field, Kaufman scored 47 runs, totaled 50 hits, drove in 28 runs, and stole a team-high 14 bases...Tallied four three-hit games on the season, including back-to-back against Radford in mid-May...In that series vs. Radford, Kaufman went 7-for-11 with six RBI and six runs scored as the Bulldogs swept the Highlanders...Along with leading the team with 14 stolen bases, Kaufman also tied for the team-lead with a pair of triples.
2022 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Kaufman played and started in 46 games for the Bulldogs...Playing mainly second base or shortstop, Kaufman hit .273 with 37 runs scored and 26 RBI...Led the team with 31 walks on the 2022 season batting as Asheville's primary leadoff hitter...Hit .300 with two runs scored in 10 at-bats for Asheville at the Big South Baseball Tournament...Posted 11 multi-hit games...Brought a 23-game on-base streak and a 13-game hitting streak with him into the Big South Baseball Tournament...Had a season-high four hits and drove in three runs as well in a February 26th game against Niagara.Â
2021 Season (Freshman) - Kaufman was a key player for Asheville in his first season with the program as he appeared in and started all 48 games for the Bulldogs...The freshman utility player saw time both in the infield and outfield during his first season in Asheville...At the plate, Kaufman hit .229, collected 43 hits, scored 33 runs, drove in 25 runs, and drew 23 walks...In his first collegiate game at Western Carolina on February 23, Kaufman went 3-for-4 with two runs scored...Had nine multi-hit outings, including a pair of three-hit performances...Also went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI at Winthrop on April 9.
Prior to UNC Asheville -Â Four-time All-Region selection in high school...Hit .418 as a junior with 33 hits, 26 RBI in 25 games played...In abbreviated senior campaign, hit .371 in 10 games with 13 hits and 11 runs driven in.
