2022 Season (Junior) - Elkins played in all 26 matches for the Bulldogs in 2022...In 82 sets played, Elkins totaled 301 assists, 140 digs, and 12 aces...Reached the 20 assist mark twice in 2022...Recorded double-doubles at UNC Greensboro (12 assists, 11 digs) and at Campbell (14 assists, 11 digs)...For her work in the classroom, Elkins was named to the Academic All-District Team by College Sports Communicators and was also named to the Big South All-Academic Team.Â
2021 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Elkins appeared in 22 matches and 70 sets...Overall, Elkins racked up 131 assists and 115 digs in the fall season of 2021...Posted six double-figure dig performances, including a season-high 13 digs in a contest at Gardner-Webb on October 30...Seven double-digit assist matches as well, including a season-high 22 against Gardner-Webb on October 30...Picked up a trio of double-doubles on the season at Gardner-Webb (22 assists, 13 digs), Hampton (18 assists, 11 digs), and North Carolina A&T (19 assists, 10 digs). Â
2021 Spring Season (Freshman) - During her first season as a Bulldog, Elkins appeared in all 16 matches and 58 sets overall...The Asheville native totaled three kills, 19 assists, 11 aces, and 116 digs during her first season with the program...She made her Bulldog debut on February 12 vs. Campbell...A day later, Elkins dished out a season-high 10 assists against the Camels...Finished the season with five double-figure dig performances including a season-high 13 at Presbyterian on March 5.
Prior to UNC Asheville - Earned all-conference and all-tournament honors, and was a Western North Carolina second-team and honorable mention selection during her career … Also earned an Ingles Player of the Week nod during her prep career … Excelled as a student, ranking eighth in her class of 301, helping her to earn recognition as an NCHSA Scholar Athlete and AAU Academic All-American … Also named an Arby's Inspirational Student-Athlete.
