CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced on Wednesday that Ona Elkins of the UNC Asheville volleyball team was named to the League's All-Academic team.

Elkins has appeared in all 26 matches for Asheville in 2022. She ranked second on the team with 301 assists, third in digs with 140, and fourth in aces with 12. Elkins currently has a grade-point average of 4.0 while majoring in political science at UNC Asheville.
