2024-25 Season (Senior) - Harvey continued his standout career at Asheville as he only competed during outdoor season and reset the school record once again in the 100m with a time of 10.28 at the Big South Outdoor Championships...He won the 100m championship after finishing third the year before and won the 200m for the second consecutive year...Harvey earned podium finishes at the outdoor championships in the 4x100m where the relay team finished second and set a new school record and the 4x400m where the relay team finished third...Over the six meets Harvey ran in prior to the NCAA East First Round, he won six events, finished runner-up eight times and never finished below 12th, with his 12th place finishes only happening twice...Harvey represented Asheville at the NCAA East First Round for the second year in a row, this year in the 100m, where he finished with a time of 10.56.
2023-24 Season (Junior) - In his first year as a Bulldog, Harvey rewrote the record book in the outdoor 100m, 200m dash and was a part of the 4x100m relay team that finished second with a school record at the Big South Conference Championships...At the championships, he finished first in the 200m with a school record time of 20.71 and third in the 100m dash at 10:33...The 4x100 relay team finished in 40.48 and earned a second place finish at the championships...He represented Asheville in the NCAA East First Round in the 200m dash and finished with a time of 21.12...Competed in a total of 13 meets in his debut season.
Prior to UNC Asheville: Competed at UNC Pembroke for two seasons before transferring to UNC Asheville...Holds the school record in the 200m dash for indoor season at Pembroke.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Farmville Central High School for coach Omar Ahmed ... Helped his team to three state championship meets where they finished second all three years ... A two-time regional champion ... Named as the conference track athlete of the year as well as the conference runner of the year.
PERSONAL: The son of Camilla Harvey ... Has two older brothers, Douglas and Darius ... Also has one older sister, Danitra ... Maintained a 3.6 grade point average at Farmville Central High School ...
