About the Bulldogs - Asheville comes into the week at 1-0 after Dustin Hale's first win as Bulldog head coach, a 7-0 shutout of King (Tenn.) back on Wednesday (Feb. 4). Asheville is a perfect 3-0 in doubles play and 6-0 in singles play so far this spring. Harrison Cooper, Daniel Franco-Key, Martin Fuks, Cian Ingles, Leo Kolbe and Jip Mens each have one singles win on the season. The tandems of Kolbe/Luke Ruecker, Griffin Lovern/Cooper and Mens/Gray each have one doubles win on the season.

About Young Harris - Young Harris was picked in a tie for sixth in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Coaches' Poll.

About North Carolina - North Carolina comes into the matchup at 3-1 overall after a 7-0 win over Furman on Thursday (Feb. 5). Carolina has posted a combined 16-4 mark in dual singles action on the season, along with a 6-1 mark in dual doubles competition. Constantinos Djakouris and Niels Ratiu are both 4-0 in singles play, while Chris Xu also has three wins in singles play. Roan Jones and Ian Mayew each have two wins in singles play, while Kase Schinner and Anthony Wright each have one win. About Mars Hill - Mars Hill is 3-0 on the season so far and will head to North Greenville on Tuesday (Feb. 10) before coming to Asheville.
