ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis blanked Young Harris 7-0 on Monday (Feb. 9) for the team's second consecutive shutout to start the 2026 season.

Griffin Lovern and Harrison Cooper opened up doubles play with a 6-3 win at No. 1 over Guillem Busquets and Greyson Williams, before Jip Mens and Trevor Gray beat Mason Harmon and Noah Pawirodirjo 6-2 at No. 2. Cian Ingles and Daniel Franco-Key completed the doubles sweep with a 6-1 win at No. 3 over Parker Rowan and Noah Torrelbauerbach.

Mens cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 over Busquets, while Ingles defeated Pawirodirjo 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2. Franco-Key earned a 6-2, 6-3 win over Samuel Guzon at No. 3, before Gray beat Harmon 6-1, 7-5 at No. 4. Cooper would pick up a 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 win over Nills Vrecruyssen at No. 5, before Martin Fuks would close things out with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Williams at No. 6.
