Men’s Basketball Enters Air Force Reserve Men’s Basketball Championship as No. 4 Seed

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Big South Conference released the seedings for the Air Force Reserve Men's Basketball Championship, and UNC Asheville will enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed. The league made the announcement on Saturday (Feb. 28).

1 – High Point (15-1)
2 – Winthrop (13-3)
3 – Radford (9-7)
4 – UNC Asheville (8-8) – tiebreaker over LWU (swept series 2-0)
5 – Longwood (8-8)
6 – Presbyterian (7-9)
7 – Charleston Southern (6-10)
8 – USC Upstate (5-11)
9 – Gardner-Webb (1-15)

BULLDOGS' MATCHUP

Asheville will face Longwood at 6 p.m. in the quarterfinal round. The Bulldogs went 2-0 against the Lancers during the regular season, beating them in Asheville 72-61 on Jan. 7, and on the road in Farmville 79-74 on Feb. 12.
