Lilly Graumann Earns Big South Conference Freshman of the Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Soccer forward Lilly Graumann has been named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, announced by the league today (Monday, Sept. 2).

Graumann helped Asheville to a pair of shutouts last week to move the team's record to 3-1-1, with a 9-0 win over Mars Hill on Aug. 27 and a 2-0 win at VMI on Aug. 31. Graumann scored the first two goals of her Bulldog career this week, scoring the game-winner in both matches.

This is Graumann's first career Freshman of the Week honor.

The Baiersbronn, Germany native is a business major.

The Bulldogs (3-1-1) return to action on Thursday (Sept. 4) to host South Carolina State in non-conference action. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. from Greenwood Field, with video and live stats available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
