Game Notes

UNC Asheville comes into the week at 11-20 overall and 4-8 in the Big South Conference after taking one of three at Winthrop over the weekend.
The Bulldogs are third in the Big South and 26^th in Division I in double plays with 27, while also being fourth in the conference and 28^th in the nation in double plays per game at 0.87.
Clay Edmondson leads the Big South and ranks 20^th in Division I with a 2.22 earned run average, while Daylinh Nguyen-Brown is second in the conference and 29^th in Division I in saves with five.
Asheville is eighth in the conference with a .262 batting average, eighth with an 8.40 earned run average and tied for fourth with a .940 fielding percentage.
Edmondson also leads the conference in opponent batting average at .223 and innings pitched at 48.2.
Queens (N.C.) enters the week at 4-26 overall and 2-10 in the Atlantic Sun Conference and is on an 11-game losing streak after getting swept at Stetson over the weekend.
Queens is last in the ASUN with a .211 batting average, 11^th in the league with an 8.56 ERA and is tied for fifth with a .968 fielding percentage.
Nick Alderfer is 10^th in the league in at-bats (120), while Anibal Rivera is fourth in the league in hit-by-pitches with 11.
This will be the fifth all-time meeting between Asheville and Queens, with the series tied 2-2. Asheville won the earlier meeting of the season in Charlotte by a score of 15-10 back on Mar. 11.

New Orleans enters the week at 15-15 overall and 7-11 in the Southland Conference after suffering a three-game sweep at McNeese State over the weekend. New Orleans travels to Jackson State on Tuesday (Apr. 8) and Southern on Wednesday (Apr. 9) before hosting the Bulldogs.
New Orleans is second in the Southland Conference and 40^th in Division I in doubles with 68, and second in the Southland and 27^th in the nation in doubles per game at 2.27.
The Privateers are also second in the Southland and 37^th in the nation with 45 home runs, while also being second in the Southland and 38^th in Division I with 1.50 home runs per game.
Bryan Loriga is second in the Southland and 26^th in Division I with 13 doubles on the season and third in the Southland and 25^th in Division I at 0.45 doubles per game.
Bryce Calloway leads the Southland and is 33^rd in Division I with 11 home runs, while the team's .521 slugging percentage is second in the Southland and 26^th in Division I.
This will be the fourth, fifth and sixth all-time meetings between Asheville and New Orleans, with New Orleans leading the series 3-0. This will be the first matchup between the two teams since 2007.
