BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis dropped its Big South Conference contest at Gardner-Webb on Thursday (Mar. 27) by a score of 5-2.
Asheville posted one win in doubles play along with two wins in singles play in the match. Freddy Murray and Cian Ingles captured a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles over Boyd Schreiber and Eduardo Dias for Asheville's lone win in doubles play. Tarek Erlewein would get Asheville on the board in singles with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 win over Kim Niethammer at No. 2, before Murray would defeat Dias yet again at No. 1 singles 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.
