Bulldogs Sweep Big South Women’s Golf Weekly Honors

BIG SOUTH RELEASE

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UNC Asheville's Caroline Patterson (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) has been named the Big South Women's Golfer of the Week, while teammate Morgan Guepet (New Orleans, La.) is the Women's Freshman of the Week. The announcement was made by the league office on Thursday (March 20). 

Patterson finished fifth at the Bama Beach Bash with a 4-over par 220 (75-71-74) to help the Bulldogs finish second as a team.  She recorded five birdies, tied for fourth in par-3 scoring (3.07) and eighth in par-4 scoring (4.21), and was 1-under on the par-5 layouts. This is Patterson's third weekly honor this season. 

Guepet was seventh at the Bama Beach Bash with a 6-over par 222 (74-73-75) for her first collegiate Top 10 finish. She also tied for fourth in par-3 scoring (3.07) and eighth in par-4 scoring (4.21), with four birdies on her scorecard. This is Guepet's second weekly honor this season.
