PROTECTING HOME COURT

Asheville is 12-0 at home this season, one of just 11 teams in the nation to be undefeated at home. Since 2013, Asheville is 8-2 in Kimmel Arena against Longwood. The Bulldogs will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak against the Lancers on Saturday. 

DOUBLE-DIGIT DOGS 

Asheville has had four or more players score double-figures in 19 of the Bulldogs' 27 games this season. Jordan Marsh leads the team, averaging 18.4 points a game. Marsh is averaging a league-best 22.5 points. In the nation, Marsh is No. 29 in field goals with 181, No. 26 in field goal attempts with 405, and No. 44 in points with 498. 

Toyaz Solomon is Asheville's second-leading scorer with 15.5 points a game and 16.3 in conference play. Solomon has scored double-figures in 26 games this season and is third in the league in double-doubles with five. Solomon leads the league in blocks per game at 1.59 and is No. 18 in the country in field goal percentage with a .593. Solomon leads the team with 7.4 boards a game. 

Josh Banks, who reached his 1,000th career point against Radford on Feb. 20, is averaging 15.1 points per game, and Fletcher Abee is Asheville's final Bulldog in double-figures at 10.6 points per game.

A LOOK AT LONGWOOD

  • Longwood snapped its five-game losing streak on Wednesday as the Lancers defeated Gardner-Webb 90-77. The Lancers moved into fifth in the Big South with the win over Gardner-Webb.

  • The Lancers have four players averaging double-figure, with Michael Christmas leading the way with 12.3 points per game, 117 field goals, and 58 3-pointers.
